Parent & Me Infant Swim Lessons Long Beach

30 minutes / $25 per class / Ages: 3m-18m

This beginner level swim program puts parents in the pool with their baby as early as 3 months old. Our teachers work with parents to help develop the natural instincts that a child has for the water, as well as the primary skills of breath control and buoyancy. In this 30-minute infant-toddler group class, the instructors lead the parents and students through group activities and interactive water games appealing to a child’s sense of curiosity, wonder, and play. This fun class is a great bonding experience for parents and their children and also aids in the child’s physical and mental development. The age range for this class is 3 months-18 months.

Make sure you and your baby have:

  • Arrive fully dressed and ready for class - WRAP & GO after lesson
  • Face Shield for Parent to wear in pool
  • Disposable Swim Diaper (we sell for $1) (required for children under 4yrs)
  • Happy Nappy Swim Cover by the company Splash About (we sell at our facility) included is a picture for your reference. (required for children under 4yrs)
  • Towels (we suggest big towels)
  • Warm jacket or Robe
  • No strollers or car seats
Private Kids Swim Lessons

20 minute weekly lessons - Sibling Discounts Available

$175 - 4 week monthly session

We offer one-on-one swim instruction to students of all ages and skill levels. The intimacy of the private swim lesson allows our teachers to specifically cater the instruction to each student’s individual needs and skill level. Our CPR-trained teachers are experienced, professional experts teaching Deep Blue’s unique Six-Step Swim Program. Classes are taught in a gentle, fun, yet progressive way, allowing students to develop coordination, stamina, stroke work, and above all, the ability to be confident, comfortable and safe in a variety of water environments.  So whether your child is six months old and starting swim lessons for the first time or a nine year old preparing for junior lifeguards, learning to swim is a critical life skill that every child must develop.
